In My Blood It Runs (2019), directed by Maya Newell, is a highly acclaimed documentary featuring Arrernte/Garrwa boy Dujuan Hoosan that won multiple awards for its portrayal of Indigenous education and justice. Key awards include the 2020 Australian Directors’ Guild Award for Best Direction and best documentary at the ATOM, Darwin and Byron Bay film festivals.
